Most Common Problems
Since establishing AccountsPLUS, there have been about 4 main problems that clients bring to us. These are
- I can’t explain why my business performance is different to what I forecast
- We are busier than ever, but less profitable, and nobody can explain why
- I need projections for my bank manager or for investors
- I am not confident in my product costs and worry when quoting or pricing

Planning Problems
- I am not confident that I understand the costs of my business
- I am not sure if I have enough cash to fund my business
Problems in Managing
- I need regular, reliable management accounts for investors or funders
- I don’t know if I can afford to buy a new van/machine/software
- Can I afford to take on more staff
- I don’t know how to choose new software
- I am getting burnt out – everything seems to fall back on me
- I can’t trust the figures in my accounts
- My accounts are no help to me in running the business
- My accounts are unreliable – reported profitability is too variable
- We are profitable but our cash is very tight

Problems with Improving
